After much speculation, the highly anticipated OnePlus 12 was formally introduced in China last week and has been a hotly discussed topic for months. Boasting exceptional brightness, sharpness and power coupled with an undoubtedly premium appearance - its global launch date was set in late November as confirmed by recent news updates.
It was kept a secret until today when the global release of highly awaited OnePlus 12 and its relatively cheaper counterpart, Oneplus 12R featuring an 'horizon-expanding' aspect were announced. The launch event date has been confirmed to be on January 23,2024 at sharp7:30 pm IST (9 AM EST) with mystery surrounding the launching details for sale location and timing yet to be revealed.
OnePlus has disclosed limited information about their upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 smartphone, which is rumored to have a massive 6.74-inch OLED screen featuring an impressive refresh rate of up to120Hz. According to OnePlus, this phone will be the first R-branded device available outside India and China. Although it's doubtful that this product would become available for purchase in the US market any time soon, potential commercial launches could happen by late January or February in specific European regions.
The high-end smartphone, OnePlus 12, is set to be released in both America and Europe. However, the exact pricing for different regions is uncertain at this time. The device boasts a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with a large LTPO AMOLED display measuring 6.82 inches diagonally.
